This sculpture reflects the unconditional love and adoration shared between a grandparent and a child. While Gaylord and Lucia complain that they are not grandparents yet, Gaylord calls upon his memory of nurturing his children. He expresses the full range of emotions in the single moment in time when an infant reaches out, for the first time, to hold his grandfathers hand. It is gentle and loving; it is trustful and caring; it is emotion. The piece is 9"h x 16 1/2"w x 7 1/2"d. It will be offered only in Parian II in a limited edition of 350. |
