From the title, a quote from Shakespeare's "Hamlet", to the art Gaylord draws upon the classical to create this image of a woman's struggle. Is this image one woman or two? Is she pensive; in deep thought about her past life? Or is she struggling to understand her future? Who she is? Who she has been? Who she wants to become? Or is she simply sleeping and dreaming of days past; tomorrows yet to come? The questions are for the viewer of this ethereal piece to answer. The piece is 32"h x 33"w x 13"d. It will be offered in bronze as a limited edition of 50 and in Parian II in a limited edition of 350.
