Overlooking the canals of Venice, Alexei has chosen this setting to create “Midnight Glow.” The illuminating glow of the candle accentuates the sculpture of Nephritides and the warn, tattered pages tell the story of evenings spent in solitude. Gazing out the window as the rain splashes on the pane; one gets the sense of peace and beauty, reflecting back on much simpler times. This work has an image size of 30 x 26 and is heavily embellished by Butirskiy. Presented in the new burl frame with light coffee silk bevel liner brings out the warmth of this setting. The overall framed size for this work is 38 x 34.
