“Boulevard at Midnight” Nikitsky Boulevard is located in an elaborate network of connecting streets in “Boulevard Ring” that circumnavigates the center of Moscow. Refreshing narrow parks run between one-way streets and interrupt the urban monotony of the city. The many solid benches give pedestrians a place for transient respite. Frequently there is an ornate wrought iron fence as we see here. Traffic is hectic along these streets, but here we see only a brightly lighted solitary tram remaining from the bustle of the day, probably heading for its depot. Goodnight; sleep tight! |
